Wait, what is Project H.E.A.L.?

From PJHW, Project Healthy Eating And Living (H.E.AL.) is a student-run project developed to spread awareness and teach the people of our community how they can live a happier and healthier life by balancing their nutrition and exercise!

Our mission through this project is to help our community learn about balanced nutrients and efficent exercising! This essential for overall physical and mental health, as well as muscle growth, weight management, and disease prevention. Nutrients provide the energy for your body to function and exercising helps your body use those nutrients efficiently.

Our plan is to hold multiple events throughout the year to spread awareness of our goal. Among our ideas is to hand out free samples of healthy alternatives to foods to those who attend our events along with a small information card displaying the benefits of switching ingredients. We will also likely be leading yoga sessions and promoting tennis lessons to implement the exercise portion of our mission.
